Buffalo declines

This deal probably won’t happen but imagine the idea of Seattle getting their first star in Eichel and Buffalo get the first two picks in the draft

I think if you add Skinner, it could be a possability

This would need to happen after the expansion draft and before the entry draft so that Seattle could add a couple pieces

I like Devil1122’s idea more with adding skinner to the deal. It definitely helps Buffalo getting his contract off their hands, but it also helps Seattle too, giving skinner a change of scenery and helping Seattle get to (salary) cap floor.

He's wondering why on Earth an expansion team (let alone one knee deep in a flat cap era) should go get a 10M player on day one. And then some of you guys want to "make it more fair" by also shipping them Skinner's 6x9 abomination. Huh?

No way. The Sabres aren’t going to diminish eichel’s value just to trade skinner

Skinner's contract doesn't hurt Buffalo right now. No reason to diminish Eichel by adding him.

Sabres are looking for multiple pieces to increase their chances of obtaining a top line player. This is an “iffy” draft class, at best. The Sabres respectfully decline.
