Personally as a buffalo fan I would rather trade be Merzlinkins, Frost, and the 5th overall pick. I’m not sure Columbus would do that, and honestly I could see Sabres management valuing multiple mid round first round picks that aren’t as high almost as much as they would a high first. This year‘s draft is a giant crapshoot, with the lack of scouting no one‘s really sure how good any of the players that aren’t in that top 10 are. Scouting staffs that still feel really good about certain players could find a diamond in the rough. Maybe the Sabres think they will do that.

I doubt CBJ gets Eichel without 5OA. I think Frost (assuming they acquire him) + Merzlikins + 5OA is the starting point for an Eichel trade, with another piece or two going to Buffalo

Habs fan here, i don't know about getting eichel, but sure CBJ would see goaltending issues in the futur no?

well the backup he has now is seen as a future starter as well as korpisalo is good to so no proably not

Buffalo has better options than that.

I still think Reinhart is who Columbus goes for. I think the Sabres will have at least double the trade offers for him than Eichel.
