I think if you can get Eichel, don't go for DeBrusk. Especially if it costs you on defence.

Danault was offered $5M x 6 in MTRL and turned it down last years so his next contract will be in that price range.

I think your idea is crazy and I love it, just a few of the other moves don't make sense but I also have no idea what I would do. Edmonton needs a goalie and a defenseman. If they can score that, they will be just fine.

PS - no chance is Seattle taking Turris. They will take Jones most people seem to think. Turris is not worth anything.

Edmonton just doesn’t have the pieces buffalo would want in return for Eichel. Broberg is a good prospect, but Buffalo doesn’t need more left-handed defensemen. They need more forward prospects, and Edmonton absolutely would need them to take on payroll in return to have any chance of making the trade work.

I think Barrie is a great fit in EDM if he signs a reasonable deal but he seems to really like that cashola.

Ceci isn't great but has worked in PIT and if he is smart will stay where it is working. He is still young and can build his value another year or two before signing the deal that ends up hurting a team.
