Larsson likely to sign in the range of 4x4 by all reports. 5x5 would be a bad contract at his age.

Retaining on Zucker just brings him to market price, so no longer a cap dump but not a bargain either. There's a surplus of goalies on the market so I don't see DeSmith as having a ton of value. I don't see a first going across for this package. Zucker retained like that probably gets a 2nd and DeSmith maybe a 4th if I had to take a stab at draft pick value.

I would too, I think there's definitely interest in him around the league. Rumours around the Edmonton media are that there's a deal in place along the 4x4 lines ready to be signed post expansion draft but in the end, nothings official until the contract is signed. Not sure if there's much talk of him in other markets but here it's along the lines of it seems like he's a key part of the leadership group and is comfortable/likely to stay.
