You think Zucker is more valuable than Tara?? I know there are injury concerns with Tara but wasn’t Zucker banged up last year too? Not to mention his production has fallen off a cliff since his peak about 3-4 years ago..

Zucker played 5 full seasons in a row b4 last. Since he was 23 years old. He’s only 29 years old. A legit top 6. He’s only signed till 31 years old.
Just wasn’t healthy this season. Last season when he was healthy, had 10 points in 12 games with the Pens.
And he didn’t get time this season to build chemistry with any Pens line.he still a talented goal scorer and playmaker. He’s is fast, good shot, pesky defensively and plays physical, he’s just not physical imposing though.
And still had 18 points(9 goals) in 38 games this season that’s still .5 PPG; while not being fully healthy and he didn’t even get hot and bring his stat averages up to normal career averages.
With that said, Tara is definitely a more talented goal scorer/playmaker. He’s HAS proven to be injury prone. Like I said, Zucker has had 1 long term injury in 6 seasons. Last season. He has not.
And Tara 2M more per season. I doubt the Pens would do it for that reason. They are really up against the cap and I don’t think Tara is 2M more talented/valuable when the Pens are cash strapped.
I don’t think STL does the trade either though too.
