    Way too much for chychrun.
And why are people so obsessed with trying to get rid of Byron.?? I think he’d be an appealing piece for Seattle without the picks.

Scores massive game winning goals for the habs in the playoffs. Has a game winning assist in overtime. He can play up and down the lineup. He’s a leader. His contract really isn’t as terrible as people think. It’s 3.4M for 2 more years. Seattle isn’t projected to be a cap team for the first 1-2 years. They could easily take Byron and flip him at either of the next 2 deadlines and could even retain 1-2M to make him a super interesting depth piece for a contenting team. He’s a playoff performer, a leader in the locker room…I’d be happy if he stayed on the habs too, although I wouldn’t protect.

I’d much rather get Seattle to take Drouin for those picks as oppose to Byron

Way too much for Chychrun? Do you follow hockey? 30/31st overall pick, barely a top 6 winger, a bottom 6 winger and a defensive prospect who's absolute ceiling isn't even what Chych already is

I think Chyvhurn is worth more than the package offered but no much more. You may not like Drouin but he is a solid top 6 winger on any team (not barely a top 6 winger like you suggest). Lehky is a solid bottom 6 winger and proven playoff performer (which increases his value to about a middle 6 winger) and almost an elite PKer. I also don't think you really know who Guhle is (you may be confusing him for his brother) Guhle projects to be a top 4 D man with top pair potential (possibly a 30-50 point guy with 60 points being his absolute ceiling). Guhle will be more of a Weber type of player than a PMD but still a very solid top 4 prospect. All that said Montreal likely has to swap the 21 1st for a 22 1st and add someone like Herris or Mysak to make the deal work.

Drouin is a 50-55 point player that doesn't bring much else to the table, he's a top 6 forward but not on a good team. Lehk is definitely a good bottom six winger but hes still just that, no one trades away elite talent for bottom of the roster guys no matter how good they are at their role. I'm well aware of Guhle (not confusing them) and I know hes going to be a solid defenseman. Chychrun is just much better than he projects to be at his ceiling so it just makes absolutely no sense for Arizona to do this, especially with Chychs contract siutation.

Would the Habs move Suzuki for a late first, fringe top 4 defenseman, depth defenseman, and top 6 forward prospect? (Chych has more value than Suzkuki but just for comparisons sake)

LMAO you are comparing and top line center who boarders on elite (who are rare as hell) to a dime a dozen top 4 LHD. Habs already have Romanov, Norlinder, Guhle, Struble, Harris and Fairbrother who all project to be top 4 LHD. Chychurn is better than all of them right now but 2 or 3 of them have the potential to hit Chychrun's level in the near future. (Not saying any of them will just an example of how easy it is to find top 4 D prospects compares to top line centers)

Alright man youre clueless, not even going to argue if you think Chych is just a top 4 defenseman

1 year over 30 points does not make a top pairing guy especially considering he barely topped 25 the year before and the previous 3 years never even hit 21 points. This season could just be an outlier (it probably isn't but there is that risk until he backs it up with another season over 30 points). Hence my caution to call him a top pairing guy.

But Suzuki is a top line centre who borders on elite?

Yea dude. Take this from a Habs fan who would know more about hockey than a yotes fan, that’s too much for chychrun. He’s a good player but he’s not worth that. (Essentially 2 1st round picks, a top 9 player and a top 6 player)

If I have a question about the NFL or JJ watt I’ll come see you but leave this one to me to tell you chychrun is not worth that.

I'm not even a coyotes fan or from Arizona bud, Chychrun is arguably a top 5 young defenseman on a really good contract and here the Habs are giving up spare parts. Have you ever seen a deal like this before? I know I haven't
