TB is in financial trouble, no way we offer that much to get them out of it.

That feels like a lot to give up for a 32 year old winger at 4.5m. A package like that is getting into Sam Reinhart territory. I'd much rather keep Poehling and see if he's NHL ready this year, then try to sign a UFA like Saad, Schwartz, Janmark or Coleman. Or maybe try to trade for a guy like Copp, Foegele or DeBrusk; they might be more of a gamble, but they're a lot cheaper and young enough to still be around when Suzuki, KK and Caufield are hitting their primes.

It'd be great to get Seth Jones, but only if its a sign-and-trade. Giving up all that for a rental would be nuts. Even then, I feel like Farrell has a chance to be a really special player and, while he might fizzle out and not amount to much, it just feels like a lotto ticket that's worth hanging on to.

You could get killorn for like just a 2nd.
