It's possible if he asked for more favourable conditions on the picks, either trade might have been called off at the time.

In that event, Dorion might have needed to trade with some other team for less.

We'll never know.

I would have been okay with losing another 1st if that meant we won the cup in 2019, but if we had made it to the finals, and then lost...that would have f*cking sucked lol.
