I don't think its a question of if he can produce, but more about what's best for Drouin. Montreal media and fans are hard on any player, more so on a Quebec born player and most of all on a player that was brought in to be the franchise player. If the Habs can win the cup this year, that might cut him some slack for a bit, but honestly he's probably better off going to an American market where no one is going to recognize him walking down the street or shopping for groceries.

I think Drouin would be better than Toffoli because he has the speed of Caufield and a way better hockey IQ than Toffoli

The problem is the defensive zone, too which winger you try to get the puck out of the zone 🤣

I think the best thing the Habs can do is part ways with Drouin. Get what you can for him. And use that money to try and bring in a two way forward with a scoring touch.

As a Leafs fan I hope you keep him and he ruins the chemistry your team has right now and you miss the playoffs. Of course I am just sour as can be right now though hahaha.

Suzuki is great defensive center . Everybody gives the credit to danault for the shutdown of marner , Connor, Matthews, Ehlers, Pacioready, Stone, but Suzuki played a lot against them too!

I think it would be the best for both side to divorce but we will see if someone wants him ( with the current league cap situation and covid ). That’s why I made a post with Drouin in the lineup; their is chance he is back even if we all don’t want
