As much as everyone is calling for "major changes", you need to add/bring back the best pieces at the best value.

1)Hyman is a great player and deserves a competitive offer. 24 mill ish is solid. If he wants 30+, so be it. Plenty of intriguing UFA winger options to replace him... Coleman, Schwartz, Saad, Granlund ,etc..

2) Galch at the right price is a solid player in your middle 6. He worked hard and gelled with your 2nd line. Make him a reasonable 1 year offer. I doubt teams will offer much more money + as good an opportunity playing with JT and Willy.

3) Bogosian was such a solid 3rd pairing guy this year. As much as Liljegren could easily slide in, I think you have to try to extend Bogo and Lilly can be your 7th guy.

4) Foligno should get a 1 year offer. 2 mill max. Despite how he played this year, he is a vet with leadership, grit, and decent ability. He may not sign but if you can convince him to give it another kick at the can with the Leafs I think its worth it

5) For me, Dermott gets flipped for best offer, then Kerfoot is exposed to Seattle saving you 3.5m. If additional moves need to be made its Mikheyev and Engvall. For goalies, Rittich is an option. I think he is better than his showing with the Leafs so far. If not, plenty of cap to go after a premium back up.

6) Hutton seems like an easy choice as a depth D at league min. If not, plenty of other cheapy options

7) I'd also look at Barclay Goodrow as a 4th line option
