Flames weren't before but he had only enforced his NTC because he didn't want to leave Toronto period, it wasn't a shot at Calgary itself. With Kadri's cap hit and impact (when not suspended), his value is much higher than a 3rd. He'd require a 1st, good roster player, or a 2nd plus high end prospect package.

That said the Oilers need to make it through the first round so could use a player that will be available for the entirety of that round.

Avs are not in the business of trading top 6/2Cs for bottom 6ers and draft picks.

No No it hasn't been. No one is putting out Reports that the Avs want to move on from Kadri. Its talking points speculation and even then they are not saying the avs are ready to move on.

If there is those reports about Colorado wants to move on from Kadri toss up a link from Sportsnet, TSN and The Athletic. You can make the claim now back it up.
