I'm sure he'd get his shot. Our 2nd PP unit changed pretty often, so depending on if Marino finds his offense again or not probably makes a difference.

BUF doesn't have to retain to move Risto.
He's a better defenseman than BUF fans give him credit for. He's just spent a long time on a team that doesn't care about winning.
I'd like to see him come to PIT in FA, after a bad year in BUF where his value is, rather than him get traded to PIT, play well, and rebound his value out of their price range.

WPG needs LD's. Maybe Riikola for Appleton doesn't make sense, so maybe for a late round pick, but they obviously need LDs. I also promise you, I personally wished the Pens played Riikola. He's going to be a steal for any team that actually plays him.

No, the Jets need top 4D. They have plenty of bottom pairing and replacement level guys. They can just sign one as a UFA for less probably if they want more depth. It would be a waste of assets to trade for one.

More Jets fans have liked the idea of Riikola in previous AGM's I've done than not, so I'm going to keep it.
