It's funny when the isles were up 3-0 against Tampa in game 4 he had to switch what was working and switched palmieri/komarov. Cost the team 2 goals and it almost cost them the game.

Yeah i changed my tune and im not embarrassed to admit i was wrong. I thought trotz did what he could and the same with lou and i was wrong. And i have no problem admitting that. That doesnt mean i wouldnt rather have lane lambert making the lineups or someone else drafting instead of lou but it does mean i sure as hell would rather them (with trotz making lineups and lou drafting) than bringing in new people. In what world was it ok to lose tavares? Theres only 1. And the answer is the trotz-lamoriello world. We should have had lottery picks the last few years instead we ended up w 23 and 2 bottom 4 picks. If you think they should promote lambert or hire someone else, fine. But be prepared for the team to regress if that were to happen.

My main point in this thread is that Trotz lineup decisions have cost them in this series and continuing to keep both Zajac and Komarov in the lineup is the definition of insanity. This is no different than scratching Lee for Connolly in 2015. The difference between me and you is I can actually present a logical argument, fans like you just can't handle when the coach is called out - you conflate your fandom with your identity so you take everything personal.

I literally laid it all out for you, why trotz and lou are the right guys for this team. So telling me i cant have a logical discussion is pretty shortsighted. Especially after just quoting me saying to get rid of trotz and lou. So which one is it? Am i conflating my fandom with my identity? Or did i not at one point say its time to move on?
My problem with you is the lack of accountability. You try to hold everyone else (trotz, lou) accountable for what they say/do but you dont take responsibility for what you say and wont be held accountable for when youre wrong. So instead of saying i cant have a logical argument (which furthers this point) you shouldve just said that youre full of hypocrisy.

I've been wrong plenty of times. I thought Mayfield should have been a healthy scratch to start the playoffs but he's arguably been the isles best defenseman during this run. There is nothing wrong with what I've said about Trotz, he is choosing to ice a subpar lineup, so I believe it is on him if the isles end up losing this series. There is no reason to dress both Komarov and Zajac over Wahlstrom, especially after the result of last game. It's inexcusable. You can choose to blindly follow, that's on you.
