For that they should, Larkin is nice second line F but that package is a monster for a guy with 2 years left till Ufa

I think the Larkin trade empties the cupboards way too much. Leafs need to keep all those pieces for future building IMO. Also, Detroit has a lot of pieces that fit those player's bills anyways with a chance t oget more this upcoming draft. If this wave can't get it done, develop a wave around this core that can. The expensive 4 has decent term with no sign of slowing down for the duration of those contracts so I say keep building around them.

Who would Detroit play at 1C if they traded Larkin?

Horrid for the Leafs trading away all those cheap futures. Keep Liljegren and have a realistic 22 man roster and sign 5m UFA winger and the Leafs would be better.

Even if Detroit was trading Larkin, it would take more than that. It would take someone you care about

Larkin’s not moving anywhere. You’d be better off moving those assets for a different player who’s not there teams captain + only good centre.
