It has never been reported that Jacobs has money problems. You made that up.

According to Yahoo Business, Jacobs lost around $600 million and has lost the third-most amount of money among 12 pro sports owners. He trails Los Angeles Kings owner Phillip Anschutz (900 million) and Colorado Avalanche and Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke ($1.7 billion).Nov. 23, 2020

    He’s cheap. He’s always been cheap. He’s a jerk. He’s always been a jerk.

He’s never had money problems. Like i said, you made something up. You took an instance of him being cheap, and turned it into money troubles. Sometimes rich people are cheap.

So he’s rich and has very good accountants. There’s nothing rich people love more than being able to say in an official capacity that they lost money. They rarely actually do.

Reilly has been ditched by 3 different teams because he sucks defencievly he is basically a good pp specialist who is not remotely physical . OTTAWA , MONTREAL , MINNESOTA basically gave him away all of sudden he is a top 4 dman for you ??? He is 28 yrs old so he is what he is he had a career year 27 points . So know he is a super star wow the bar is lower in BOSTON

He played like a top four puck mover this year. Whats your obsession with all caps?

You actually did mention the cap as one of the reasons this benefits the bruins. I guess you were reaching. I don’t blame you. There is no way this trade benefits the bruins.

Kurashev probably wouldn’t play for the bruins….so what’s the point? I think his value to the bruins is basically zero. Debrusk had a really down year in a weird intradivision season without a real off season and no pre-season. Without that outlier, his previous seasons had him scoring at a 25 goal pace. If you think don Sweeney is dumb enough to just completely give up on that player for nothing, given the circumstances of what just went on the last year, i guess there’s a chance you could be right, but i wouldn’t bet on it. The guy went to Harvard, and you would have to have a single digit IQ to make this trade.

I said it would benefit the Bruins Cap, not that they have Issues. You don't think saving 2.5m+ is a help to the bruins cap? I think they are arguably similar in fact I would value Kurashev slightly higher due to not having the concussions DeBrusk has sustained and younger, it was his 1st year in the NHL. I was surprised to see how DeBrusk was used this year, like you say he was a 25 goal scorer yet he was getting shafted to the 4th line at times. I think there may be a difference of opinion behind the bench but thats just how it seems from the outside. I thought a sea change could benefit him and sending PK back would be mutually beneficial. Its of no loss to us as I said, I hold both players at similar calibre and at least PK can defend more.

they been clear on it multiple times man, what are you talking about. They aren't looking for pylons. They have to fit the system. Which is mobile defensemen who can jump the play. Which describes basically all their defensemen.

It does describe all their defence and thats why he wants something different, cause they not going deep in the playoffs recently. Being the best skating D Core doesn't mean you win. There's more to it. Every team would love a big physical guy who can skate and have great hands, but to get that costs a lot and having seen the reaction to moving a player like DeBrusk who appears on the outer I doubt they would consider moving anything that would be needed to acquire this said big physical D man.

I think debrusk didn’t have his legs because he had a crap off season (shortened), and no pre-season. During his previous three seasons, he always got hot towards the end of the year, and carried it into the playoffs. He basically didn’t have an end of the year this season, or last season for that matter. When he’s going, he’s buzzing around like a bat out of hell and using his speed as a weapon. I just don’t think he had his legs this year. Maybe that’s concussion related, or maybe its related to this being the weirdest off season/NHL season in a few lifetimes.

We can related when talking about Strome I suppose. I hope DeBrusk can get back to the same levels, I liked his play on the offensive end and would be open to giving him a chance if it presented itself.
