Description
Wedgewood is just a stand in for the "best goalie available" at a minimum contract.

Interested to hear Flames and Sabres fans' opinions on the 2 trades. Would you do that trade - why or why not? (and if not, what would it take to get it done?)

Also not entirely sure/interested to know what people expect the value of Tatar, Stastny and McCabe's contracts to be.

    Because if 3 9+ mil contracts doesn’t work, why not add a 4th

    Have to think Sabres accept. Picks are likely late but that's a haul. You get a top 6 player (whose playoff performance means nothing to Buffalo), a C prospect, and 3 picks to bring in other players or rebuild.

    Mangiapane trade would be tough to make. Calgary would more likely be interested in Marner for a package built around Gaudreau and or Monahan.

    Eichel doesn't make sense for the Leafs

    Holl for a 7th is brutal. Dude is worth at least a 3rd. He's a #4 d-man making 2 million.
