where are they getting 81.5 mill in cap space lol they are going to be drafting 31 NHL players. Lots of teams will have more cap space and rosters spots available than Seattle will

FIRST OF VEGAS IS EXEMPT FROM EXPANSION DRAFT . Get a clue how things work . And yes they will be choosing 30 players . AND WITHOUT QUESTION THEY WILL HAVE MORE CAP SPACE TO WORK WITH THEN ANY OTHER TEAM WITHOUT A DOUBT . They dont have to take other teams overpaid trash players . In those 30 picks they will be choosing players for there minors development team aswell . Not all of them will be for the nhl roster . Many will be released or traded back to other teams for pics and other prospects just like the last expansion draft

30 teams, youre right. Do you recall all of the free agents vegas signed when they were an expansion team with all that cap space they had and available roster spots?

Ottawa declines. I'm sure there's a team out there that would pay you a 6th for Engvall but I don't think that team is Ottawa. Tkachuk, Stützle, Formenton, Paul are all pretty locked in on left side and we have an ENDLESS amount of wingers in Belleville who could step into our bottom 6 and do just fine: Greig, Kelly, Sokolov, Crookshank, Abramov, Reinhardt...

we don't need more offence, it hasn't worked for the last 5 years. I don't want to hear an argument. i think filling out offence with mean guys who can score and are cheap and get two top 4 D or one top 2 D. look at the habs, they got their big three forwards and a stacked D core, that's what wins you playoff games
