No it’s not. I want more for my team’s #1 dman. Idc if he’s on an expiring deal. He’s very important to our team, and we’re not a rebuilding team who’s just giving away players for picks. We’re competitive and will continue to try and compete, and we want a return that’s gonna make us do that. That doesn’t make the leafs better in any way.

Yes but the depth of both NYI and TBL will be too much Imo. VGK has a very good team and the lineup here is great, I am knit picking when I say the C depth is the only thing lacking. Very hard to not have any part thats weak in the Cap era and even more so with the flat cap. TBL fortunate with their LTIR situation



Although you are correct, with the flat cap it will become. harder for you to get a team out that competes due to being so top heavy. Moving Reilly who is good offensively will give you a chance to sign another goalie and move Muzzin to 1LD and give Sandin more opportunity whilst giving you a 1st round pick.

Yeah, I want sandin to be on the top pair I’m with u on that. It’s just that I want more for my number 1 dman who had an outstanding playoffs and whose value is very high. 1-2 middle six forwards, plus a first is what I’d want. Spread out his cap hit across our roster with like player a and b making 2-2.5 each that carries into next year. Our cap situation next year will be good if we do this.

Lehner looks like a cap dump problem for VGK this year. Much like teams, VGK included moved guys for nothing last year, I can see Lehner being moved for nothing.
McCann is a pretty interesting trade piece. They can get more to help them win now than a backup goalie coming off a not so hot year due to injury.

Pens and leafs both decline. Reilly is an elite 1st pair d. Gonna take more than a cap dump and late first in a weak draft to entice them. They are going to go for it next year so it doesn’t make sense whatsoever for them.

As for Lehner, the pens don’t need a goalie making 5 million to put up similar stats as Jarry. So no thanks.
