    The 2022 1st is conditional.

Condition: If Eichel fails to play in at least one-half of the 2021-2022 regular season for Chicago, then Chicago keeps their 2022 1st.

That means if next season is 82 games, Eichel needs to play 41 of those games for Chicago in order for Buffalo to receive the pick.

Pittsburgh doesn’t need to give up anything to trade Pettersson. Let alone for “future considerations”

That would be a great haul for eichel for sure

Could look at bringing Roussel or Eriksson over from Vancouver as they are only owed 1.9M and 4M respectively, but cap hits are 3M and 6M

Trading for Eichel seems like a really bad idea for the Hawks.

Adding Eichel will get them to the playoffs, but unless they make big improvements to their goaltending and defense I can't see them going far.

Goaltending will probably be easy to improve with a lot of good UFA goalies hitting the market, but I have no idea how they will fix their D.

Definitely agree with this, but Toews is pressuring them to try for another cup, whether they have a team for it or not I see them going all in again to try to get there for Kane and Toews

Actual GMs make really bad trades all the time.

        i.e. Duchene, Karlsson, etc.

You could even put the draft pick contingency to included making it to a certain round of the playoffs and eichel playing in those as well. Gotta remember Connolly brings negative value to that trade and Strome doesn't add a ton of value either. The main pieces are Dach (which I'm a huge fan getting to watch him in junior) Reikel and this year's first. I really don't think this trade is that far off from what they could get.

Dachs value is much higher then Boqvist. Theres at least 5 lottery picks worth of value if not more.

Huge overpay. If we include Dach we will be keep reichel. And that 2022 pick will be a conditional 2nd that can become a 1st based of playoff success, not a strait up 1st

They could have Pettersson. I want that dude gone faster than I can blink. It’s just, they would be able to get something for him. 3rd and a 4th probably

Once my 24 hour limit has past, I'll have Part 3 ready to go.

It's the same as Part 2, only Boqvist is now back in the trade and Chicago gets to keep Dach smile
