Anaheim says Yes, but adds a 2022 fourth to fill in that woefully sparse dance card.

Bunting made 737,500 last year. Is 25 years old and played 26 NHL games. How in the world is he worth that much? I guess that is a Dubas like contract tho 😂

I would like to see him on this team also but let’s get real, 1mil tops. He probably gets something like 900,000 to stay in ARI.

Waste of assets for the players you are trading for also.

Bunting was on pace for 20 plus goals this year and he’s only 25 and that was in Arizona he would easily get 15-20 in Toronto IMO so I wanted to get him on some term and same with Ritchie he plays a physical game he can fight and score 20 goals a second rounder has like a 10 percent chance of making the nhl

Adding much needed depth scoring ritchie was on pace for 20 goals this season and plays a physical game and can fight hit people and cause chaos in front of the net bunting was on pace for 20 goals aswell and is really good at getting under the opponent’s skin and rakell is a magician him and nylander on the same line would be filthy and bonino is a nice 3rd line centre option and mrazek is a good streaky goalie

Bunting had a ridiculous 26% shooting percentage. You think that is sustainable. McDavid runs an average of 16%! No chance he keeps that up.

Look, I’m all over trying to sign him this summer, but that contract is terrible. Again, 1mil max he gets.

There are plenty of better options in FA then to trade away this picks you did. The Leafs have 6 total picks in the next two drafts. No position to trade away anymore.

I like the Bonino add.

Ritchie for a second is a steal he scores 20 fights people hits people and causes chaos infront of the net and rakell would fit nice on the second line most 1st round picks don’t become anything especially late ones

So ANA trades Ritchie to BOS for Danton Hinenen (a former 4th round pick) who is probably not going to get tender a qualifying offer this summer and is now suddenly worth a 2nd round pick. Come on dude, be better. That’s a terrible value.

Stop trading Liljegren. He’s NHL ready and has high potential. Makes zero sense to trade him especially with our cap. We need to get cheaper in certain areas to afford the core 4.

The best defenders don’t stand out when watching them. Name me one game this playoffs Brodie stood out defensively.

He gives the puck away a lot and isn’t very physical hes a good skater and decent from the point but I think leaf fans overvalue him a tone he’s a B prospect in IMO

What Marlies games do you watch? He’s was by far the best player on the Marlies this year. When he was playing in the NHL he was great beside Muzzin.

Leafs fans don’t overvalue him. We know his potential and we know his value. His potential is Muzzin/Brodie and this is his floor. So why trade him and first for Rakell who can’t stay healthy and had 2 down season?

He really was, Liljegren, Gaudet, McKenna, and Gogolev really stood out this year. Liljegren will absolutely be on this team next year.

Me too. Leafs did not spend 4 years developing him to watch him play for another team. IMO
