Don't know if it is true or not but there was a lot of reports last night saying Kaprizov was not happy with the offer from Minny and he is close to signing in the KHL with SKA

Not true at all. He's not "close" to a KHL deal, it's just the only leverage he has and obviously CSKA wants him back, who wouldn't?

As far as negotiations with #mnwild, Kaprizov wants short term so far, Wild’s offered him long-term, so as I’ve reported, this is going to be a tough negotiation. Again, the Russia option is the only option, so that’ll be the leverage as long as he’s unsigned

Also this isn't a bad thing from Kaprizov. Wild need a center to play with him and if he signs a 5 year deal, we have a 5 year window to try and get a Cup! Wild aren't close to considering a trade for Kaprizov. And if we look at trades it would be at him being a top 5 player in the league as the trade. Which i know most teams would not consider that atm.

I don't blame Kaprizov at all. We do need a center badly.
