Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Not sure who adds, but Ritchie has fallen out of favor in Boston and could be the type of player Hexie and Burke are looking for. Also Boston is rumored to be looking for a Top 4 LHD, so Petts could be on their radar. The Pens will have to move money out somehow, so with this trade and with Seattle taking Zucker, they accomplish this.

Friedman is young and cheap, so the Pens don't need to sign Ceci or any other RHD.

Even with Malkin in the line-up this team is cap compliant, so if he is out longer term the Pens could look to upgrade somewhere, but I don't think they really need to. Best to bank the cap space for the trade deadline.

Finally, it is hard to gauge how much Anderson is going to cost. The Pens could go up to $4.5 if needed, but they shouldn't be looking to sign a goalie for more than 2 years and Freddie may be looking for a prove it deal. Not too sure...???

Now now...let's calm down a bit boys. Whether you like Petterson or not, doesn't matter because we are not the GM's. If Boston did want Petterson, is Ritchie likely to be moved? Either way what would have to be added to either side to make everyone happy?

Idk if anything really needs to be added. I think it’s pretty fair. Ritchie is a good 3rd liner who could probably play short stints on the 2nd line. But wouldn’t want him there consistently. And MP is a 2nd pair defensive defenseman. If the Bruins take on Pettersson though it means they will probably be giving up on at least one of their 2 young LD of Lauzon/Zboril.

No you lose a 3rd liner and a crappy young dman that’s likely a bust for a young top 4 dman on a great contract that’s proven. We get it though, you don’t watch anything outside of the Bruins and just parrot what trolls say lol

pettersson can be a 2nd pair dman just like ritchie can be a 2nd line winger. would i want either of them in that situation long term. absolutely not. if im gunna get a fringe 4th dman ide just resign mike reilly. and trade ritchie elsewhere. petterson was getting 6th dman minutes all year, at 4m aav bruins shouldnt be looking to make that move.
