After listening to Elliott Friedman today he said that the Blue Jackets are interested in both Reinhart and Eichel. He said they really like Reinhart. JMO but I think with what Columbus has to offer it will Reinhart not Eichel you go after

I’m dying for Seth Jones to come to CHI. Most hawks fans are not. Kalynuk/Beaudin with Jones then Keith and Murphy is a really good top 4 defense on paper IMO.

This certainly seems nice, but looks very fragile to me; if any of those key deals (the two trades and the Hamilton signing) don't go as planned, the whole thing falls apart. IMO.

In terms of Reinhart he said some teams like that they can deal with him where with Eichel you know you are getting 5 yrs at 10 mil. All GM's are different in what their preferences are and all GM's lie especially around the draft lol

CHI accepts. Jones is a UFA and said he is open to testing the market. We would have to convince him not to and thats the risk we take so I see the deal as fair value in that aspect.
