I'm almost positive that Seattle is exempt from that rule because they weren't a team during the TDL

I like Foegele a lot but I'd only do this if NYI can find a suitable replacement for Mayfield. Foegele would be a great fit with Pageau and Wahlstrom.

Putting in the 5th would just prevent us from doing a sign and trade with another team. Pretty low cost to ensure they get their guy if they really want him

Replace Mayfield with Leddy. Isles have a serious cap problem and trading Mayfield makes it really hard to fix.
