Anaheim owes the bruins a favor for dumping nick ritchie on them (that contracts gross btw), but not this big of a favor. Add a first for starters.

Ritchie got 15 goals in 56 games that makes him a 20 goal scorer. It’s only 3 years.

Vaakanainen and DeBrusk were both first round picks and can play right away. Remember Muzzin got a first round pick plus a prospect but Toronto got 2 playoff runs out of him. The Bruins will get one for sure.

Ritchie was terrible. Possibly the worst player I’ve ever seen on the bruins.

Where a player was picked 6 years ago doesn’t matter at all.

So do the Bruins walk away from Ritchie?

Maybe they qualify him? I’m not sure. I hope they don’t and just let him walk. I guess they could qualify him and keep him as the 13th forward if they have the cap space.
