ive been saying this for a while now. Kane would be a perfect fit on toronto. he has the skill, size, and background to be a good fit. i actually made an armchair gm post a few months ago before the leafs were in the playoffs about them trading for Kane. I think he won't be 100% under the spotlight because matthews and marner are there, and he adds a physical ability that the leafs dont have. plus hes the 2nd level player that can step up when the top guys are shut down, like we jsut saw in the playoffs. just my opinion from a habs fan living in toronto.

The Sharks do not need Morgan Reilly, unless we trade one of our 4 LHD and he comes with a manageable extension.
We already have our left side set in Ferraro, Knhyzov and Vlasic/Simek.
If Leafs take Simek back in trade maybe as it would push other guys down but even then I doubt Reilly wants to be in SJ long term and the Sharks really shouldn't be committing to anymore long term contracts.

Also given what DW is saying about expecting playoffs next season I do not foresee him trading our team MVP in Kane.

I like Kane but he’s not on a good contract and the term makes retention unlikely. He’s also a bit of an idiot.

He had a down year this year. I don't think he'll get more than 2.5. If he does change our focus onto Jake McCabe.

His contract might be voided. I don't think he'll be playing hockey next year. He'll probably prep for his Jake Paul fight lol

Kane stays in SJ unless there is an over pay. there is no player we need less then rental Morgan Rielly. we are over populated with LD.
