Jeffrey Truchon-Viel has signed a new contract with the San Jose Sharks.

Nice singing for the Sharks. I liked the gritty style he played with this season, just he isn't known for putting up many points.

I like him

I guess he won his little audition over Kurtis Gabriel.

Of the two tough guys San Jose tried out, Viel stood out on top. Can't expect much from him apart in terms of points production and he's a bit small for an enforcer, but we need guys to stick up for our team more and Viel definitely ticks that box. It also helps that he is more disciplined than Gabriel and can be trusted not to pull stupid penalties.

Looks like a tough guy in the AHL. Can't wait until players like this are gone from Hockey.

Same. Can't wait for it to be all figure skating, diving, cheapshots, and career ending injuries.

Nobody said I wanted the toughness taken out of hockey. Don't put words in my mouth.
