Description
Detroit protects: Larkin, Vrana, Hertl, Rasmussen, Erne, Fabbri, Smith, Hronek, Dunn, Stecher.

Detroit improves a pretty bad dcore. Love Mike Rielly, think he could fetch much more but seems like an Yzerman signing. If we cant get Rielly I would go for Ryan Murray or Jamie Oleksiak.

Detroit keeps its MVP in Bernier, who wants to stick around for the future

Id love to see the middle six kind of hop around, depending on whos playing better, have some competition. Really want to see Berggren and Raymond opening night, they'll have the ability to make the roster.

pre expansion move. Detroit gets a good center to elevate some pressure from Larkin. Not sure where San Jose is at in this, but feel like this is a move Wings should pursue, if possible

Pretty good trades for sure. I don’t think you’re paying enough $$ for Mike Rielly, J Bernier, and Fil Hronek

Blues pass. We arent taking a guy like Cholo who clearly cant make Detroit's lineup

Wings pass and y’all can lose Dunn for free to SEA.

Agree on Rielly most likely, he could certainly fetch more. Bernier, love guy but hes a 4 mil guy tops, i'd say 3.5 is very fair. Its an upgrade for him. Hronek yeah could probably fetch 5mil but i cant imagine much more. Hes not gonna be the no 1 guy or no 2 guy in 2 years time

No problem with the Wings pursuing Hertl, but the price tag for him is significantly higher than what’s here. And I don’t think the Sharks would have a lot of desire for Bertuzzi so a strictly picks+prospects trade foe Hertl would be much better.

Which is better than this nonsense. We'd lose barbashev to Seattle and you'd give us essentially a low 2nd and a 4th

Hronek is gonna be a red wing for a long time and if we can lock him up for under 6 mil then for sure. Bernier should get plenty of contract offers this offseason, he’s outstanding. If we want to bring bernier back we’re gonna have to pay

Yeah thats fair, i would give that washington first, a low B forward, and a guy like Tuomisto for Hertl. I figured the Sharks would want an NHL player. Idk, i dont really understand what the sharks are up to. They should go full rebuild, but here we are.

The Blues will lose a good player no matter if they trade Dunn or not. Plus Seattle could still take Barbashev. Regardless, I’m not going higher than the Wings 2nd rounder for Dunn. Look at the recent trade boards, this is what majority ( and there are a lot bc Dunn fits a positional need) of them are, a 2nd for Dunn. That or WSH’s first rounder, which majority of the Wings fans say no to.

I dont see the Hertl trade happening. He has the no trade clause, only one year left and will be protected by San Jose. He is not a good take for Seattle with the requirements and only having 1 year left on his contract. they arent taking guys to Win now, even though it worked for Vegas. Vegas was also building for the future, not taking 1 year guys.

I think Vince Dunn is not a good move. Cholowski wont crack our lineup, but I would use him with a trade with Vancouver or a place were he might hold some sort of value. Dunn needs the change of scenery, but i dont know that he would be the guy Seattle would take from St Louis either.

I like the James Neal move because it does need to happen for Edmonton. Giving up the 19th overall might be tough for them. I could see it happening if you sent back like a 5th rounder Svech or something along those lines. not a huge piece, but something that they can possibly get in their lineup.
