Donato is a tough one, I know we paid a 3rd, but if we get him signed below his QO on a little bit of term he will be useful to someone and Sens are notoriously cheap so having another skill forward on a cheap deal with a bit of term could be enticing to them, plus that will be a mid to late 3rd being a Bruins pick

Protecting Vlasic and trading Simek, unrealistic.
Gambrell being picked up by Seattle, realistic.

Vlasic said it himself when asked about waiving NMC for the expansion draft, "no, I'm going to play here for 20years"

Simek I think will get moved somehow, be it for another cheap "bad" contract or just for a 3RHD like I suggested with Braun

And yeah Donato is a tough one, I've tried to remain optimistic about his trade value, but not getting rid of him at the trade deadline was a mistake imo. And while he is still decent in terms of production, he's just not an impact player really. Expecting a 3rd for him, isn't that unreasonable, but I just don't think his trade value is all that high considering his QO at the moment. We'll see though I'd love to be wrong.
