I kind of think you're undervaluing San Jose's high 1st pick and understating the trade value effects of Marner's cap hit, but if SJ want an upgrade at 1R enough to give up a good 2L and a top pick, I think that is going to work for Toronto. My guess is take out the pick swap and it's closer.
