In my opinion, we need to see 1 more year from Fox. If he can repeat or be just as good, I'll say he's a #1.

Devils defense is by far worse than Vancouver. You can't name one good defensive defensemen on the Devils. Blackwood carried the Devils before he got Covid. After everyone was back from covid, he still played solid but the team was bad. How wouldn't Blackwood be a staring goalie on most teams? That means you're ranking him 20-30 range. Blackwood is top 10-15

Correct he's in the 15-18 range. He's absolutely not top 10 his sv% is barely above .900. I don't care how bad his defense is that's not top 10 worthy

Pelech is a #1 when it comes to shutting down opponent's star players. Sure he doesn't put up points, but I would argue a defenseman should prioritise defense
