If Kerfoot were trade or taken by Seattle, why not give Brooks at least a look at 3C? I think he's been solid and might thrive in a bigger role!

Dvorak gets more. If he’s avail for trade, there would be a ton of interest league wide and there’s just no way that’s the best offer. He has a tremendous contract for what he offers.

He’s very solid. I’ve wanted him on the wild for years now. He’s good on faceoffs, plays with a nasty edge but not cheap, natural goal scorer, good hands. For his contract, he’s incredibly desirable. FWIW, I’ve put proposals that have dumba + 1st for Dvorak, and ppl still say no. So I’m honestly not sure on what his valuation actually is. I think TOR has a very nice piece in Kerfoot, so that might be an edge. I can just see many teams wanting him and the packages would get pretty competitive.

Dumba and a 1st feels like good value for Dvo. Some think of Dumba as an actual negative player though so depending on who you ask his value could vary. I do agree we would need to give up more than Kerfoot, probably Liljegren as well or something like that. And realistically if Arizona isnt interested in moving him, he wont move.
