Minnesota declines that. We're moving Greenway for the worse player at the same position? There's no incentive there.

I guess that's a low risk high reward move for the Kings.

From a philosophical standpoint, I’m against trading debrusk, but i would LOVE that trade.

Lol, Debrusk>Greenway. By quite a bit. Not this year, but still.

Cehlarik does not have that kind of trade value. Doubt he’d bring back more than a 5th.

Then you can keep him, and we'll keep Greenway.

I think this move is mutually beneficial for both teams in strive to get to where they are trying to go in regards to DeBrusk for Greenway

IDC one way or the other. Just a ridiculous comment.

82 game average for their career.

    Debrusk 22g 45pts

    Greenway 10g 33pts.

I can sure see why you think Greenway is better. LMAO.

They play different style games. I like Greenways overall game better, Debusk is more one dimensional, but at their best Greenway is a 3rd liner Debrusk a 2nd.

Greenway is getting better every year, Debrusk is getting worse.

For someone who claims not to care, you sure seem like you care.

Anyway, Wild decline, no incentive to do this.

He will be regarded highly especially given not really working out in Boston, prospect swaps happen. Cehlarik had a great year in the SHL as well as a great WC, where I could see a similar trade for him taking place

Cehlarik has never had problems producing points anywhere. His defense or lack of it keeps him out of the NHL. Seattle might take his rights as part of deal to keep them from taking a young d man. But not much stand alone value.

So you are able to form that evaluation of Debrusk because of a terrible year where he had 2 injuries to start the season, 2 positive Covid tests, battled depression? You think that is career path trajectory based on that? Hmmm. Guess we will see.

I’m not averse to trading away greenway, but I can’t picture the wild moving him for another wing like this scenario suggests. I think he would be added into a trade for a C or a higher draft pick, not a similarly aged and more expensive winger. Moving him would be about opening up the roster spot for an elc player in the system and to free up a little more cap space. So I couldn’t picture them doing a swap like this for a 3rd and less cap space in an already tight cap offseason.

I would be really surprised if any team traded for and qualified Kase. He is likely a non-tender candidate and will get signed to near minimum deal. He has had unfortunate run of injuries and probably needs a prove-it year.
