That is the most ridiculous comment from a sad troll. Boston has had an impressive 12 years. The first six of those were filled with some awesome wars with the Habs. For the past 5 years, the Habs haven't been as competitive and the Bruins have had to be content with crushing the spirits of Leafs fans instead. As for the future, rather than waste time imagining what teams will sit atop the various divisions, you'd be far better off trying to figure out when to short the NYSE. That's probably a lot more predictable, too.

just because we havent seen each other in a long time doesnt mean we still dont hate each other... If a dude in a habs jersey is walking around td garden screaming the bruins suck, they are getting jumped. And vice-versa. This rivalry dates back decades of hatred. It's not going anywhere

Prior to this year's playoffs, most Habs fans would tell you that the Habs rivalries were as follows: #1 Bruins (F#*#&$^@$ Marchand), #2 Rangers (F#*#&$^@$ Kreider), #3 Pittsburgh (the gold standard in the East for two decades), #4 Philly (F#*#&$^@$ Hextall and F#*#&$^@$ Giroux) and then, maybe, the Leafs or Tampa. Roch Carrière's kids' book aside, for most people, until this year, the Leafs were a Norris Division team that Hockey Night in Canada would try to flog as a great rivalry. Maybe it will now be, but it will take eons before Habs fans hate Toronto with the same red-hot intensity that burns when the Bruins and Habs play, even in the pre-season.
