I would guess St. Louis asks for a little more but it’s pretty close. If Tarasenko can stay healthy I like the move a lot. The third pair would be a big concern imo

Yeah I realized the third pair is concerning but the one playoff game lajoie had he was pretty good so I'm hoping he can be a good two-way defender next year

Swapping Bean and Dunn wouldn't alleviate any expansion problems but it isn't a terrible move for STL if they believe in Bean's upside. Trading Vladdy for a nice haul of futures at this point in his career is very risky for both teams. I'd hate to be the GM in charge of making that decision. Personally I think there is enough value in this package for STL to take the risk. The Blues have very few u25 contributors and the pool has gotten too shallow. I don't know much about Suzuki's development though, and his AHL stats (.38 ppg) are nothing to write home about, plenty of guys his age had bigger production.

I like the value from a Blues perspective, maybe sweeten it slightly with the picks. My only concern would be trading for Bean and losing him to expansion right away.
