In fairness that is a significantly upgraded D but I cannot be positive towards this AGM due to 40 year old Mike Smith getting 3 million dollars 😑

Pens didn't have Kahun's rights since they traded him to Buffalo for Sheary and Rodrigues. Not sure why Pens made that trade Kahun had over 0.5PPG when in Pittsburgh. But really they were probably scared of his Arbritation rights.

You're moving Zucker and need a replacement, Kahun is decent & cheap and gives you space to upgrade in net.

It's Smith & DeSmith, you can't beat that! I put $3M cause I think that's what Holland is going to pay him but obviously less is better for the team. He had an amazing season though, so he gets a raise (still one year though).

Killorn is less because he's older and Tampa is forced to trade for cap, normally they wouldn't trade him. I put a 3rd for Khaira cause he's a Vancity hometown boy and the locals seem to like him and might pay a bit more.

Don't touch Deangelo, let alone pay him 4 million dollars. NYR will have to retain big time or buy him out to get rid of him.

VAN is not trading away a 3rd round pick for a bottom 6 forward.

Poor defence and a long history of locker room trouble. He gives you good power play production but that's it. In other words, a cancerous Tyson Barrie

Oilers decline the Smith deal, I think he gets the same 1 yr deal 1.5 with up to 1 mil in performance bonuses

Oilers decline the rangers deal, Deangelo is a locker room cancer is a PR nightmare for any team and is just a terrible human being who’s been given multiple chances to correct his behaviour and hasn’t, teams and the league shouldn’t give him another one, he’s the poster boy of what’s wrong with this world.

It was a cap thing, I think they were scared about him reaching performance bonus they couldn't afford to pay.

No he's not but you have Guentzel and McCann can play top 6, Kahun is a decent 3rd line LW decent production, defensively responsible and cheap. You get a fair amount of offense and he can play up the lineup if need be. In the meantime, you have the extra zucker cap, assuming a clean disposal. Not a big deal to me but if I was Pitt, I would consider it.

I would move DeSmith for Kahun without hesitation, I want to get rid of him anyway. We need space to go after the experienced goalie.

They have players in their system they would play b4 they brought back Kuhn in my opinion(Poulin, Angello, Zohona, D.OConnor, Lafferty). Or sign a vet cheap on a one year deal.

If they move Zucker or he gets taken in the expansion draft. It gives the Pens some cap relief. I doubt it’s Kuhn they use it on.
