No. Why do people keep trading dubois for peanuts. He is going to bounce back. Jeez. Like he’s worth at least Poehling and a 1st. At least

I hope you’re right but Poehling is very promising too, I have faith in Dubois and know he’s a stud but you’re not just getting “peanuts”

Why trade Little? If he remains on LTIR he doesn't hurt the Jets cap.
Yandle waiving for Winnipeg....Not a chance.
If you want to cap dump Dubois fine, but Poehling looks like he will never be an NHLer.

Yandle is becoming a healthy scratch in playoffs, he would do it to get some actual playing time where it counts and he could help this team in many ways. Little is a cap dump, this team is very deep and good comparing to this years team

These trades are terrible for the Jets, if Yandle is a cap dump(and would waive for Winnipeg, he won't but for argument sake let's say he would) and you get a 1st for taking him it's pretty much negated by sending a former 1st round pick in return.

Yeah, it would have to be Niku or worse instead of Vesalainen if this was to look like a normal cap dump trade.

Edit: Yandle is 2x$6.35 million left .... that means it would have to be Yandle, 1st, 4th and a prospect for Niku or worse.... but the Jets would decline because of that 2nd year.

If Little stays on LTIR, he isn't a cap dump. What is this fantasy on CF trading long term LTIRs thinking it helps the team trading them?
Yandle, an American...living in Florida with his NMC...no I guess he has no interest in moving in Winnipeg, not only the weather for him and his family but about the worse travel schedule next season is the Jets.

I mean Winnipeg won't get anything close to this if they're trying to swing him out this offseason. A "Bonafide 1C" that doesn't score for half the season and completely disappear in the playoffs when stars are aligned to make him shine isn't appealing for any GM.

I agree that the Jets wouldn't get much for Dubois, so that is one reason why the Jets aren't likely to shop him in the offseason. The other reason is that Stastny is an unrestricted free agent and Little's future is uncertain due to injury (maybe "LTIRetire"), so if Dubois was traded they would have to put Perfetti as 2C. The Jets saw first hand what happens when you rush a kid: see how Burmistrov never recovered after being rushed by the Thrashers. It is better for the Jets to keep Dubois (and hope/expect a bounce back) and ease Perfetti into the NHL.
