If I'm Hextall, not sure I would want to trade Guentzel. If he does trade Guentzel however, I would like this trade but change the 1st for next year where the class will be better and MTL likely won't have the same run as they are this year.

Guentzel is a cool idea for MTL but I just don't see it. They're definitely not moving Romanov and Anderson fits the role we need him to perfectly. Im not sure MTL can offer Pit what they'd want for him. Picks and prospects are mainly all they could offer. Most of the roster players aren't being moved. I mean Drouin and Lehkonen maybe I guess but......

Yeah Pens fans can argue all day about how much they should get for Guentzel, but MTL have no interest in trading away Romanov and Anderson.

Doing the Habs AGM side of this trade doesn't mean it "works". Cap is not the issue here. Fit is the problem.

POJ is our puck moving Dman of the future, showed great signs of being top 4 NHL Dman this year if not top pairing. Why in Gods name would you give him up.
