I can't quite figure it out, but I feel that you're leaving SOMEONE out
SOMEONE who is for sure better than at least 5 of these guys
Damn I just can't put my finger on who THIS PERSON is
Wow it's just so hard ugh I can't figure it out!
Right now I agree except Matthews should be below Bergeron and Barzal both have been beyond round one multiple times and Bergeron is far better defensively and offensively where it matters in the playoffs.
Honestly right now I think there could be a series debate for Mackinnon the best player in the world. Point also below Aho because point has kucherov to drive his line while Aho does it all himself.

Aho has AS and TT tho... I think they cancel each other out. Can't go wrong with either two lol

Svechnikov doesn't play with Aho all the time, only once in a while I believe. He had Nino until a couple games this year. I agree with this list when it comes to performance. I think in terms of pure talent it probably would be different but somehow some of the most talented don't perform when it matters.
Lol true. But only for the value people seem to want to trade him for. People seem to value him as much as MacKinnon Crosby and McDavid. He has yet to prove he’s even remotely close.
With playoffs considered you cant do that I guess.
Barkov had Verhaeghe and Marchment. Verhaeghe is decent, but Marchment doesn't compare when Point has Kucherov and Palat. At the same contract aav with Palat/Kucherov as wings, I'd take Barkov over Point.

I agree, I see where people come from. If you watch Eichel he is a top 3 player in the world some days, there is some games where be takes over and is a standing up version of Mack McDavid. And then there is other stretches where he plays like a top 10 player but not at that franchise elite level, I wish I knew how to make him stay at that level but it's falters 2 much, and his sketchy injury knocks off a first in value as well or 2. From 6-4.

True, but point won a cup as the #1 C and was probably the #2 player last year IMO after Hedman. This year no doubt Kucherov is the best player and point has been his wingman but last year I loved Points game. Barkov does need wingers though, would be fun for him to show us his potential, him, Barzal and Eichel with wingers like Kucherov would be awesome to watch!
I think there’s a whole tier of top centres who are not quite franchise level is who could be in this list. Barzal, Scheifele, Barkov, Zibanajed, Petterson, Oreilly, Point, Aho. All elite, some may move to the next level. But not quite sure there.
Assuming Drasaitl is considered a winger. All I’m saying is that he took the 9th most faceoffs in the entire damn league. The golden boy McDavid was 48th in faceoffs taken.

Plus Drasaitl is above 55% winning faceoffs this past season. Which is kinda important as a center.

Barkov, Petterson and Barzal have the pure skill to become franchise, the rest I think will be great point per game players.

Yea he was #10 but he got moved out for the alot more talented Barkov. And he should stay 11

Important. But not defining of center. Lots of wings take face offs now. Play percentages and strong vs weak side draws.
