That’s a slight overpayment for Dvorak, not that bad, but when you look at what we got for Kk and compare Kk and Dvorak, we then have a big problem

After looking at their draft record I dont know. They seem to struggle in the draft department often missing more than hitting

And even when they get a hit they trade the guy away for a meh return

I mean I think that the Dvorak deal is pretty good value. Losing KK not so much.

Yeah, the problem isn’t with Dvorak, it’s with losing Kk, Kk was loved throughout the fanbase

I feel like a first and a second is too much. Dvorak is a solid player who's definitely worth a second-rounder, maybe even a first. But not both.
Regardless, it's losing Kotkaniemi that stings.

I think Dvorak is easily worth a 1st and maybe a bit more, but yes losing Kk is the what really stings

Yeah except Kk was loved throughout the fanbase and has a lot of potential, his ceiling is a low end 1c/great 2c and imo he’s worth more than the 1st and 3rd/Dvorak, him not being worth 6mil doesn’t matter

The rule I am referring to is if a team gets the #1OA pick they cant get it for the next 5 seasons or something. Basically NHL preventing an Oilers

Why is Seattle on this list. Depending on the direction they go they could massively tank after the deadline if they decide to get assets for the rentals.
