It would be Erik Karlsson/Max Pacioretty 2.0, but I think the surgery complicates that quite a bit. Plus Eichel is different from those 2 situations in that negotiating an extension isn’t a factor.

This is actually the sad reality of a lot of Americans in general. Wanting surgery but not getting approved even though they’re symptomatic. In Canada of surgery is an option and regular medical therapy isn’t enough, you can find a surgeon to do the surgery. It might take you months to get it, but you’ll get it. God bless Canada
