Palmieri, Parise, and I believe I heard Murray

Also didnt Djoose sign in Europe?

I was thinking Palmieri, Parise, and Cizikas. I threw the at least in there because Murray is possible too, but he could also be unsigned because he's still talking to teams.

Another thing to look at is the well frankly scary look for Tampa. They’ve basically solved their cap problems - and if you look at their team after next year, they really could conceivably be perfectly fine to attempt a four peat (assuming they get a three peat or even just go deep).

Especially if guys like ABB, Raddysh, Katchouk don’t need major paydays/ sign team friendly bridges. I know it’s early but if Tampa even could move Stamkos (after the “three peat”) they will quite literally be set for farther than 2023…

Chicago really saved them and opened the flood gates by not making Tampa lose their first..

The hockey world is awfully quiet right now... I'm calling it that a big move is going to happen soon.

Comeau blockbuster incoming, we got Raffl for a reason.

Tampa gonna win another cup forcing the NHL to change certain rules and LTIR will be even more confusing

I don’t think the LTIR is that much a of a big deal.

Every cup winning team has to use LTIR in some way. Tampa flexed it harder with Kuch but the guys had hip surgery it’s not like he had something minor or non invasive. But Seabrook being “OVeR ThE CaP” is a stupid argument that monkeys are gonna use.

Seabrook is literally retired. If I was the NHL I wouldn’t look at the LTIR as the biggest problem.

If I was the NHL the biggest needs would be reffing, considering a play in that doesn’t water down the playoffs and still incentivize the league leaders with benefits, and finally heavily considering a luxury cap like the NBA (seeing as Bettman literally helped create the NBA’s luxury cap).

Lightning re-sign Cal Foote (he was an RFA) for 2 years, $850,000 AAV. He and Bogosian will likely share time at the 6th D-man spot.

I think most fans don’t have a problem with LTIR itself but have a problem with players who are placed on/off of it at a suspiciously good time

Also, yes reffing sucks

Honestly Mikheyev-Cizikas-Kampf have been a pain in the ass 3rd line to go up against. Would not have minded it

If that line hit double digits in combined goals I would be surprised lmao

I believe they can if they manage to convince a team who owns the #1 pick to trade with them. That's why I suggest amassing 2023 picks cause then you can give the #2 or something and a bunch of other stuff to Buffalo or whoever owns it so they give you the #1 pick. Then you draft Bedard

Its like what Burke did when he traded from 4 to 1 then traded down and got 2 and 3 or something and drafted the Sedin Twins

No way in heck anyone trades out of 1 if it's Bedard or Wright

Be a good defensive line though. Imagine that line against Mcdavid. Held to no points resulting in tantrums and dumb penalties for him lul

Almost like the Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck line

Ryan Suter confident he can play until he's 45: https://www.nhl.com/news/stars-ryan-suter-confident-he-can-play-until-age-45/c-325869364?tid=277548856
@EsoYeezus69 How're you feeling? smile
(I like Suter as a short term option, but 4 years, 3.65 million AAV is outrageous)

I like him for depth, but can someone tell me if he's a defenseman or forward? I thought he was a defenseman for the rangers last I checked but I just heard someone calling him a winger.

My thoughts on the draft and UFA:

Leafs win with the mrazek signing

Lmao that Hyman contract is HORRRIBLE!!!

Hawks/Jones trade that’s big! Smart move on Columbus part to acquire boqvist

Lmao the habs actually picked him

The biggest surprise for me this off-season has to be all the dumb moves Edmonton made. They traded bear and Jones, acquired some decent players on horrible contracts, and signed the leafs legend ceci, Hyman to bad deals, and ruined a ton of their future IMO

So I guess this guy will be our 7th D. This may get us closer to getting rid of Gardiner.

Correct, he's a defenseman. His brother Riley Smith is a winger for the Golden Knights.

IMO, the only team having a worse off-season than Edmonton is Carolina. Traded Nedeljkovic away for a 3rd rounder and Bernier, whom they lost 10 seconds later, lost Mrazek, lost Reimer, traded away a great young defenseman in Bean for a 2nd rounder, lost McGinn, traded Foegele away for a bad defenseman in Bear, signed a garbage moron and horrible teammate in Deangelo, and Dougie Hamilton, who was the supposed reason for trading away their goalie of the future in the first place, went to New Jersey. I don't think Canes fans could have imagined a worse offseason in their worst nightmares. (Repost)

I thought it was Tampa

As it seems when a Dman leaves the rangers he ends up in Tampa
