Why Blues? Just Buchnevich? I don’t think Bolduc was a particularly god puck with Lucius and Svechkov still available. That said I’d add Winnipeg (Lucius at 18, shoulda been 10), Nashville (Svechkov+L’Heureux is a fantastic haul, Svechkov was a steal and L’Heureux probably coulda gone a little higher but definitely the highest upside guy left), and Detroit (top pair LD and starting goalie) to the winners list. CBJ are the biggest winners for adding Boqvist, Bean, Johnson, Sillinger, and Ceulemans (first two were just good picks for the slot, Ceulemans was a steal). It’s not often you add 5 young players that project as top 4 D or top 6 forwards in the same day, plus an extra 1st next year.

I suppose it depends on his actions and amends the guy would've done in that span of time. Owning up to mistakes and apologizing for parties related is the first part.

it would at least have given everybody the opportunity to figure out if he for real learned what he should have learned from this whole thing or if he just said what he said to get people off of his back and to make a judgment from there. if he showed a real commitment to learning how to be a better human being, then i think many people would be okay with the whole thing; otherwise, we'd just rip whatever team would have drafted him next year a new one like we all just did with the Habs.
