Dang. I kind of assumed they weren't keeping Savard (who was terrific, completely worth the 1st rounder and will be a terrific addition for some other team), since Cal Foote is being groomed for that 6th D spot, but I would love for them to keep Coleman. Definition of versatility.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around that

As the hurricanes organization is confusing me rn with their goals

They want to compete but dont want to pay their good players the money they deserve

This is like 2 opposing forces colliding and something eventually has to give.

Ullmark is proven at 7m I'd say he is still worth it. He had a POSITIVE... POSITIVE record on the sabres... He wins games, that's what is important.
