I’ve been watching a couple of his highlights and looking trough video games and his career and I’ve noticed that when on the wing Pavs only plays with left handed centres.

He wanted to go home to the Czech league and retire so kind of makes sense they are looking for a replacement. Would have thought Coyle would slot in and they would find a cheap 3c option

Coyle isn't a 2C and is massively overpaid (probably deserves 3.25M max)

Way back in the past I think he played on a Havlat-Kennedy-Pavelski line, and Kennedy was a right shot C.

yeah same I believe he has more to give and I really do believe a fresh start will do him good but this is a gross overpayment

Lol. It makes sense, since they have the cap space, but they can’t outbid any of the other teams on quality of players, since Suzuki & Caufield aren’t going anywhere. To land Eichel we’d likely need to throw our entire prospect pool at Buffalo, and even then I’m not sure it’d be enough.

Minny is the absolute best fit. He'd be their best player possibly in franchise history and would plus a massive hole at C that's been there for years. I remember a few seasons ago when they had good wingers such as Parise, Neiderreiter, Granlund and Zucker but their C depth was 2C material Eric Staal, declining Mikko Koivu and 3C material Charlie Coyle.

Now, I don't know what they could/should give up for Eichel but hey, that's not my problem lol
