So since i wasn’t too active on FA day, offseason review ( anything after NHL Draft time ):
Anaheim:
They resigned Getzlaf and that’s pretty much it, since they’re rebuilding, they don’t need to do too much
Good offseason
Arizona:
Acquired more cap dumps, picks and prospects, good return for Kuemper, signed depth FA’s/options to be flipped, gave way too much money to Jaskin
Good offseason
Boston:
Dealt Vladar, good deal, he wasn’t going to play and you got more than his value, resigned Hall, signed a bunch of depth and overpaid for a couple FA’s ( Forbort, Ullmark )
Still a good offseason though
Buffalo: acquiring more useful depth players, nothing really big here
Meh offseason, the team still sucks
Calgary:
Going for it, overpaid for Vladar, got Zadorov and his ridiculous ask, signed Coleman to an okay deal
Bad offseason, you overpaid for Vladar and arguably Coleman, Zadorov too, you’re defence is still questionable
Carolina:
Traded Foegele for Bear, great deal Bear is better, signed Raanta and Andersen to good deals though if you give Andersen’s that money, why not Ned, signed a bunch of depth including Tony D ( lol )
Good offseason, they’ve done some questionable moves but overall still good
Chicago:
Acquired MAF who might not play, got Tyler Johnson in a bad trade, should’ve been at least a 1st, got rid of Zadorov though, that was a good deal, signed depth, and Jake McCabe to too much money
Bad offseason, what are you doing Chicago, you’re like rebuilding and going for it at the same time
Colorado:
Overpaid out of desperation for Kuemper, signed Landeskog to a good deal
Okay offseason, the team is arguably worse than last year
Columbus:
Gave Jenner an extension, overpaid Kuraly, signed depth
Okay offseason, since they’re rebuilding they don’t need to do too much
Dallas:
Gave a bad deal to Suter, signed Holtby for some reason, you already had 2/3 NHL level goalies ( depending on Bishop ), signed depth
Okay offseason
Detroit:
Signed Pius Suter and a bunch of depth
Good offseason, Yzerplan is in motion
Edmonton:
Holland, Holland, Holland, overpaid Ceci and gave a bad deal to Hyman, traded Bear for Foegele, Bad trade Bear is better
Bad offseason, why is Holland the GM again, walking nightmare
Florida:
They’re going all in, dumping Stralman, signing Duclair and Forsling to good deals, giving Bennett, Verhaeghe, Montour high risk deals
Okay offseason, we’ll see if it pays off
Los Angeles:
Really looking to contend in a weak Pacific, gave Danault a good deal 😭, Athanasiou’s back, got Edler
Good offseason
Minnesota: Overpaid, Kulikov, Goligoski, Freddy Gaudreau
Bad offseason, still haven’t addressed your biggest need a good center not named JEE
Montreal:
Armia’s back on a good deal, Hoffman and Savard on good deals
Okay offseason, we need a 3c and don’t have too much space for one, maybe shouldn’t run with 1 center and 11 wingers either, should’ve probably used that Armia money towards a C
Nashville:
Granlund is back, signed depth
Okay offseason, they have to hope so forwards bounce back, they still have some holes there
New Jersey:
Dumped Butcher for cheap, overpaid Bernier, got Dougie, signed depth
Good offseason, gotta hope some forward season take the next step
NYI:
Haven’t done anything whatsoever
Jury’s our on offseason, still have a couple holes to fill
NYR:
Overpaid Nemeth, signed depth
Bad offseason, still have holes to fill especially on D
Ottawa:
Got rid of Dadonov in a good trade, signed Delzaster
Good offseason, they didn’t need to do too much
Philly:
Signed Martin Jones, Yandle
Good offseason, addressed their holes
Pittsburgh:
Signed Brock McGinn, depth
Good offseason
San Jose:
Got depth and veterans
Good offseason, have to hope the kids take a step forward
Seattle:
Signed Schwartz to a good deal, Grubauer and Wennberg to questionable ones, flipped Vanecek back for more than his value
Okay offseason I guess
Saint-Louis:
Haven’t done anything
Good offseason, the team is still in good shape, they don’t really have to do much, Tarasenko trade still pending though
Tampa:
Signed a bunch of depth, dumped Johnson for cheap
Good offseason, team still looks real good
Toronto:
Signed Mrazek, bunch of depth
Good offseason, they didn’t need to do much
Vancouver:
Signed a bunch of depth, overpaid Poolman and Hamonic, traded Schmidt away
Bad offseason, Benning masterclass
Vegas:
Overpaid for Dadonov, traded MAF, resigned Martinez and Janmark, overpaid Brossoit
Okay offseason, some weird moves
Washington:
Overpaid to get Vanecek back, signed depth
Okay offseason
Winnipeg:
Traded for Schmidt, overpaid for Dillon
Good offseason though filled your biggest hole, D, should add a couple forwards for their 4th line
And Toronto reportedly is still gonna add a top 6 Forward per Friedman. My guess if they go FA is Tatar or if they go the trade Route one of (Dvorak, Bertuzzi, Rakell, Debrusk) no idea. Heck maybe Dubas re-trades for McCann

Not going to lie, this made me laugh. Maybe we are spoiled, but I just don't see Perry being much of an asset (of course, I very much hope I'm wrong).
