I can see fabbri and stecher moving at the deadline idk for what return but id certainly take jost. Zaboril is super average at best and more of a disappointment than cholowski has been. I dont want him. Hyman seems a long shot but armia is a real opportunity.

I'm intruiged as to what your objective is with these moves? I don't see a team that has taken a step forward, but at the same time im not sure if the youth has a better environment for development either.

Jost has had a legit breakout this year, so the Avs won't be looking to deal him. He's their 3C for the future

    smile
you don't wanna trade Jost? really selfish - better bottom six spot than trade
anyways, I'm willing to include Blashill in the this package if it helps to change your mind, Mr. Sakic :P

I don't see the point of any of these trades. They don't make Detroit any better now or in the long term. I don't mind the Hyman signing but I think he gets 5.5x 5 or 6 years.

I wouldnt think theyd move him. He can gives them some options especially if they consider moving on from kadri

hi Seider53, the objective of this moves was:

    a) to strengthen offense by adding Hyman and Jost
    b) to help Rasmussen with his development as future C3 by surrounding him by proven players Erne and new acquisition Armia
    c) to create more ice time for Zadina, Lindstrom by getting rid of Namestnikov, Stecher
    d) to find a partner for Hronek - Zboril is young, Czech and defensively responsible
    e) to move Panik which I dislike as a player

with these moves I hope that Detroit gained better 2nd & 3rd forward line than it has been through the past season
next positive could be more spots young players, e.g. Seider - no minor league please

Interesting. Personally doesn't fit with what I would do, but then im not a GM in the NHL either. I see the logic behind your moves, so it definitely makes for an interesting conversation.

Ok what are you using to back up your breakout claim? I'm only asking because he was better in just about every category in the 2019-20 season. Personally Jost comes or stays I'm good either way.

I get that argument. I mean, his CF% has dropped by a couple of points, as has his FF%, but he's playing against better competition and starting in the D-zone for the most part so a regression was likely. He's just been far more reliable and consistent this year, and he's producing at the same rate against better players. He's no 2C, but I think he'll be a pretty reliable 3C for the Avs now and in the future.

CF% is useless unless you have something to compare it to. CF% rel in 2019-20 -0.1 and in 2020-21 -0.4
