If you trade Jones for Marner you should be very happy

It's time for a retool, the perfect storm is ahead.
- Jones wants out (At least test the FA) so you'll get assets coming back especially if salary retained (How much is worth a rental Jones under 3m$? Answer: A lot)
- Likely that Domi leaves in FA next year so maybe gone by TDL next year or at the draft? He signed the lowest term possible to get him to UFA and he's a big market type of player.
- Laine and Roslo are RFAs so Jermo can deal with them no stress
- Plethora of picks including a likely top 5 maybe top 2 pick
- Jarmo being resigned for 5 years feel like he shown ownership his plans and they agreed, a five year retool and back to competition plan is likely. If not management would've been changed in this critical offseason.

The Marner-Jones swap makes sense as it's a good 'hockey trade' and for CBJ it's locking up a top player for 4 years and knowing they have a hard time bringing in big names it's worth something.
