this takes away the one element that the flames need on a line for gaudreau. a top line of gaudreau, lindholm, marner would be nothing to shake a stick at but i just have this hilarious image in my head of them passing and turning on the perimeter for an entire minute long shift then getting off. there is no true shooter in that top 6 for the flames, a lot of playmakers. monahan is that right now regardless of how poorly he has done that for two seasons.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think a 14 player roster might struggle in the playoffs...

Tkachuk is more valuable than Marner and Kerfoot is likely getting taken by Seattle so this is pointless for us. Easy pass.
