Coleman 5M? Hyman 5M x 6 years? This is ridiculous. You're also selling super low on Marner, Dumba is not nearly enough. Also Minnesota needs centers, not wingers. Terrible trade proposal.

Marner is a great player but we don't need wingers. Toronto could get more for him than this anyways.

Fair enough. Its tough to find a compatible trade for a guy with a 10.9m hit. As valuable as Mitch is, I think this is the kind of deal you'd get.

Hyman at 5M is realistic but not for six years, that's gonna age worse than Lucic. Coleman is not a 5M player, never has been, and even if one gm thinks he is, Dubas isn't that gm.

Look at the Charlie Coyle contract or the Brendan Gallagher deal.. Those are direct comparables and they are all the same age.
6 years is very realistic especially if the Leafs try to leverage years in exchange for a lower cap hit.

Coleman at 5M is an overpay, yes. Thats because it is free agency and the player goes to the highest bidder.
Coleman will get in that 4-5m range. I chose the high end, Nothing to freak out about.
He is solid middle six winger that just won a cup... Big market for guys like that.
